TLB documentation page should provide the basic documentation which concerns the TLB project. The CD distribution itself comes with a booklet and a recored user's manual, but all additional info can be found here. We would try to provide all the information any interested user could find necessary during his work with the TLB. For developers or advanced users, some reports, commentaries and similar will be available.

This is a list of what we're offering:

* System requirements needed to run TLB
* List of supported hardware
* User's manual (for the current release)
* Known bugs (for the current release)
* Programming documentation
* Useful links

Read user-posted commentaries!!!

System requirements
TLB distribution can run on different computers with various Windows OS installed. The system requires a standard PC configuration (Pentium I processor, but recommended higher) with a CD ROM and sound card, and a minimum of 250 MB free disk space (FAT). In case there is no FAT partition available, the system will work with reduced capabilities. The blind user receives all the information through the computer audio system, with the keyboard serving as the main user interface for data input. TLB is supposed to be used with a number of computer I/O devices. For instance: modem (network) is needed to enable connection to the Internet, also floppy or a printer can be used. The complete list of supported hardware devices is given in following.

Supported hardware
As mentioned earlier, TLB should support a variety of I/O devices. The necessary computer devices are keyboard, CD ROM, sound card and a monitor display (for partially sighted users). The TLB distributution is supposed to work even with computers with no hard disk (with poor performance though), but this should be avoided. Floppy drive is optional.
Support for other devices (modems, printers, etc.) is liable to changes and depends on available drivers. To our users, we would strongly recommend to browse through this list because it is quite possible that some of the hardware may not work. Supported list (.doc)

User's Manual
Here you can obtain user's manual for the current TLB release:
TLB v1.1 (June 2003.) - Croatian (.doc)

Known bugs
A list of bugs, known so far, is here available (bugs.doc). We have to emphasize, this list is not final because new bugs and inconsistencies are regularly discovered in course of testing. They will be added to the list in due time, if they are not immediatlely corrected.

Programming documentation
A set of our own documents, commented source, schemes, future plans, etc. will be available with the offical release of TLB v1.2 distribution.
